With the summer season nearly upon us in Rapid City and the Black Hills of South Dakota, our highways, byways and scenic drives will soon be welcoming motorcycle riders and enthusiasts to ride our incredible landscapes. And, for the second year in a row, EagleRider - which is the world’s largest motorcycle rental company - is offering rentals at Rapid City Regional Airport starting on July 1. (The folks at Motorcycle.com were kind enough to share this news last year when it launched.)

What this means: motorcycle lovers don’t have to road trip, haul or fly their bikes to Rapid City, Sturgis or the Black Hills. Instead they can reserve and pick up motorcycle rentals at Rapid City Regional Airport. Touring, adventure and street bikes are available.

While there are many places to stay and explore during your motorcycle road trip to western South Dakota, Rapid City is a great place to base your trip. We have a variety of lodging options, an incredible culinary scene, plenty of things to do, a walkable downtown and are within easy reach of Mount Rushmore, Sturgis, Needles Highway and more. Check out our top 10 scenic routes through the Black Hills here.
If you’ve been dreaming about a motorcycle ride through the Black Hills, reserve your rental here. Have more questions about Sturgis? Call us at 605-718-8484.
