Rapid City Restaurant Week – America’s 250th Birthday Edition
Kick off the new year with Rapid City Restaurant Week, set to take place in Rapid City, South Dakota, January 15-25, 2026, with 56 restaurants participating and a special focus on America’s 250th anniversary.
“Rapid City Restaurant Week is a celebration of the city’s culinary scene,” said Callie Meyer, Director of Community Engagement for Visit Rapid City. “It’s a great time of year to get out and support your favorite local restaurant or try somewhere new.”
A variety of businesses participate in Rapid City Restaurant Week, from breweries to coffee shops and pizzerias to restaurants. While each location comes up with their own special offerings for Restaurant Week, this year is focused on celebrating the country’s Semiquincentennial, with creative menu offerings and specials making their appearance on local menus.
“Rapid City is going to be one of the best places to celebrate the country’s anniversary,” said Ally Formanek, CEO of Visit Rapid City. “This year’s Restaurant Week is a great way to kick off the celebration.”
This year’s participating businesses include a diverse mix of culinary offerings, including Bengal Kitchen, Dakota Meat Co., Juniper at Vertex Sky Bar and Salt Block Burgers & Brews, to name a few. The full list of participating restaurants can be found at visitrapidcity.com/restaurant-week.
Specials for this year include prix fix menus, happy hour drinks, specialty entrees and more, including:
- Bokujō Ramen: Bison Curry Ramen
- Fork Real Community Café: Victorian Cheesecake Tart (made with fresh blueberries and topped with homemade raspberry preserve in puffed pastry)
- Firehouse Brewing Co: Blue Ribbon Mac & Cheese
- Mexico Tipico: American Dream Brisket Tamales
- Nanna's Cafe & Bread Company: Pancake Breakfast Sandwich, with a side of country potatoes
- Sear Steakhouse: Three-course Red, White and Blue Special (roasted red pepper soup, surf and turf, blueberry butter cake)
To participate, users can sign up for the free Restaurant Week Pass at www.visitrapidcity.com/restaurant-week, download the pass and check out offers and options.
While the pass can be downloaded at any time, the menus will be populated on January 9. Each time a user checks in during Restaurant Week, that person is entered into winning a grand prize, which includes a one-night hotel stay, event tickets, a downtown gift card, skating passes to the ice rink at Main Street Square and local merchandise.
Plus, for the second year, for every check-in done through the app at a participating business, Visit Rapid City will donate $1 to Feeding South Dakota.
