Dressed in bright yellow shirts, these friendly local guides walk throughout the downtown corridor, ready to answer questions, share recommendations, and help visitors experience more of the city.

The seasonal program is funded through the Mayor’s Office and supports the businesses, attractions, events, and public spaces that give Downtown Rapid City its unmistakable energy.
When to Find an Ambassador
Downtown Ambassadors are on the streets seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., beginning in early May and continuing through September.
