Visit Rapid City Welcomes Rally Riders with Celebration and Harley-Davidson Sweepstakes
Visit Rapid City is welcoming thousands of motorcycle lovers to the Black Hills for the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally through Ride the Rush, an event that features a community celebration, free breakfast and a chance to win a 2025 Harley-Davidson Street Bob.
The Veterans Breakfast will take place at Main Street Square on Friday, August 7 from 7-10 a.m. Breakfast is free and donated by VFW Post 1273. The event includes live music, veteran speakers, free haircuts, and drinks from a variety of local Rapid City businesses. The breakfast is open to the public and all are welcome to attend.
“Rapid City is the basecamp for the Black Hills, and some of the best motorcycle riding in the country starts right outside our door,” said Ally Formanek, CEO of Visit Rapid City. “Ride the Rush is our welcome mat. Swing by Dinosaur Park, hit downtown, and make Rapid City part of your rally.”
Ride the Rush also has a sweepstakes element, with Visit Rapid City giving away a 2025 Harley-Davidson Street Bob. The giveaway is open August 7-16, with a winner being drawn on Friday, August 21.
