What’s up everybody! My name is Mason (@mason.moir), my wife Alex and our pup Cedar, love Rapid city and the surrounding areas!
We’re so excited to be taking over the Visit Rapid City page and showing you a typical weekend of ours when we’re not renovating our 1972 Airstream. Both Alex and I love being outside seeking new adventures, good food, and a great cup of coffee - and one of the greatest things about the Black Hills is just how many options you have to chose from! We can’t wait to head to some of our favorite places and take you along with us!

Day One

We spent Friday afternoon in Downtown Rapid City with so many fun things to do and tasty things to eat! We even found some awesome old post cards from the 1930s at Perfect Hanging Gallery that we snagged for our postcard wall in our home!

Day Two

Alex and I got to spend our day climbing, and it’s amazing to have world class routes not too far outside of Rapid City! I love just how many things there are to do in the Hills! Needless to say it’s also a great way to tucker out a pup!

Day Three

If you have never hiked the Cathedral Spires Trail in Custer State Park - I would highly recommend it! As dog owners, we love that pets are allowed (on a leash and don’t forget to clean up after them too!) so our pup can join us for adventures.
