As we visited coffee shops around Rapid City, we looked for both a great cup of coffee and accessibility features, like open floor plans and low table options. This is not an all-inclusive list, but you can be sure your visit to any of these will be worry-free—and delicious!

Harriet & Oak

This old auto garage has never looked more hip, with its exposed brick walls and original VW bus that sits on the main floor. Their sister company Oak Roasters roasts their coffee, and whether you pick a light roast or grab a latte, you’ll taste the love in every bean. While you’re here, don’t miss their food! Locals go out of their way just to get a scratch-made poptart, not to mention their acai bowls and sandwiches.

HomeBrew

One of the newer coffee shops in town, HomeBrew is about more than just great coffee. Every drink you buy directly supports OneHeart, whose mission is to provide pathways out of poverty for those who desire to thrive. Their menu covers standard coffee orders, but keep an eye out for their specialty barista’s choice offerings for a special treat like a salted caramel cold brew with cream and caramel drizzle.

Dunn Brothers Coffee

This Midwest chain is beloved for many reasons, starting with great coffee and continuing with their investment in local communities. The Rapid City location is in the renovated Landstrom Building, now known as The Gap. It’s the perfect place to grab a cup of coffee and spend the day exploring all the businesses that call the building home.
