Rev up your walking boots and explore downtown Rapid City during the Rally Rush Biker Trail challenge! This self-guided, walkable experience includes 20+ unique stops featuring local shops, restaurants, and fun surprises along the way.
Joining the fun is easy! Just download the Visit Rapid City app and tap the Rally Rush Biker Trail icon right on the main page. As you visit each trail stop, check in through the app. When you’re ready to wrap up your stroll downtown, head over to the Rapid City Visitor Center to claim your prize. We can’t wait to see you there!

Where can I park?
Limited free parking spaces are available throughout Downtown Rapid City during Rally Week — Rapid City Visitor Center (Main Street), Hotel Alex Johnson (6th Street), Prairie Edge Trading Co. & Galleries (6th Street), and ForeFront Design Inc (7th Street). If those spots are full, you're welcome to find a spot anywhere downtown. Just a quick heads-up — downtown parking is metered from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Looking for covered parking? There’s a convenient parking garage next to Main Street Square, with entrances on both 5th and 6th Streets, which is also metered from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
How do I participate?
Just download our free app, tap the Rally Rush Biker Trail icon on the main page, and check in as you visit each stop. Once you’ve completed the trail, swing by the Rapid City Visitor Center on Main Street to pick up your prize. It’s that simple — and a whole lot of fun!
How do I check in?
There are two easy ways to check in:
Automatic Check-In: Just set your location settings for the Visit Rapid City app to "Always Allow," and we’ll check you in automatically a few minutes after you arrive — easy as that!
Manual Check-In: Prefer to keep your settings different? No problem! Simply tap on the stop you're visiting and press "Check In" when prompted.
