At the Native American World Series, softball is much more than a game. It's a celebration of culture and identity.
Now in its fifth year, the event is the largest softball tournament in South Dakota and unites more than 40 tribes from across the country for a weekend of family friendly action. From Aug. 21-23, Rapid City's Star of the West Sports Complex hosted more than 85 teams, each in custom jerseys adorned with colors and symbols representing their tribes and communities.
