Established in 1896, this fish hatchery is one of the oldest operating hatcheries in the country dedicated to fish culture and resource management. See four species of trout raised by the DC Booth Fish Hatchery and used to stock in-state fishing waters. Be sure to visit the on-site museum while you're there to check out a collection containing more than 185,000 items. It's the largest collection of fisheries artifacts in the country, some of which are on display.

Call ahead for great interpretive tours available June - August from 9:00am - 6:00pm of the 10-acre grounds, including the Booth House, Von Bayer Museum of Fish Culture and fisheries rail car.
