Facts:

• He was the first vice president to come into office due to the death of his predecessor
• Reportedly, he named his plantation Sherwood Forest because he identified with the character Robin Hood and considered himself a political outlaw
• At the time of William Henry Harrison’s death, it was unclear in the Constitution if the Vice President was elected to office. The succession was clarified in the 25th Amendment
