Below, you’ll find various opportunities to choose from based on your needs. Space is limited for a few of our offerings. Contact us to become a partner or to learn more about the program.

Who We Are

Visit Rapid City is a non-profit, destination marketing organization promoting leisure travel, special/sporting events, meetings and conventions, and group travel and tours to Rapid City and the Black Hills area. Our purpose is to make Rapid City a top visitor destination through inspiration by sharing the Rapid City story and to spur economic growth through partnership and innovation. The visitors that these efforts attract impact our local economy by generating new revenue from non-local tax sources, sustaining jobs and keeping property taxes down.

How We Impact

2019 Visitor Spending

  • Visitor Spending statewide is $3.4 Billion
  • Tourism directly supported 33,213 jobs in South Dakota in 2020
  • Without visitors, each South Dakota household would pay $780 more in property taxes
