Rapid City draws its elegance from the uniquely local beauty of the Black Hills. The Dahl Arts Center is a place that reflects many points of inspiration from the community. While visiting the variety of the galleries, stop in to Perfect Hanging Gallery, Shaviq, and Susie Cappa to take in the richness of local artists and one of a kind shops downtown. Take a stroll down Art Alley to breath in the collective art that inspires, connects, and uplifts the community.
Bill Bernhard – Hiking Expert
Rapid City and the Black Hills are an outdoor enthusiast's paradise! The area offers people of all fitness levels the opportunity to hike, road bike, mountain bike or trail run. One of my favorite hikes is to Little Devils Tower. When you arrive near the top, you will need to break out your inner rock climber. Once at the top, the views are spectacular and you may even run into some mountain goats. Just don't get too close — they don't like that!

Rapid City has an abundant craft beer scene. With 5 local craft breweries right within the city, each having a variety of styles, flavors and tavern atmospheres to choose from, you will not be disappointed. All of our breweries have their own specialties and something different to offer, so I recommend trying them all!
