There are 40 teams racing around the Midwest to locate America’s hidden gems and historic artifacts, all for bragging rights, a plastic road sign and an opportunity to find America’s missing children.
Fireball Run is a 26 episode streaming series in the U.S. on Amazon and televised in foreign markets. The teams are made up of a variety of individuals with a whole lot of personality and BIG hearts including two of our very own Rapid City residents, Marnie & Doug Herrmann. Show your support by going to http://tiny.cc/votemarniedoug to vote for the Herrmann’s. Contestants will travel throughout Rapid City and the Black Hills in hot pursuit of clues to answer trivia questions and uncover historic artifacts and hidden gems unique to our area. All elements of the show are authentic, including contestant outcome and reaction. NOT a Reality TV series, Fireball Run is factual entertainment. Factual TV is a genre of non-fiction depicting actual events and people.
Many of the challenges are once in a lifetime, rare, exclusive, of historic experiences, although some are physical challenges. Not a road-race, contestant speeds are monitored by the AmberAlertGPS system by AlertGPS®. Fans can favorite teams in real time as they traverse along a satellite map at fireballrun.com.
This is your opportunity to watch as this amazing AdventuRally rolls through Rapid City and cheer on the contestants and celebrate with the winning team as they cross the finish line in Downtown Rapid City on September 30th!
The Fireball Run is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest active recovery effort for missing children. Over the course of the first 10 seasons, they have helped recover 49 missing children with the show.
