This beautiful hike offers a number of scenic spots perfect for a family picnic and multiple spots to cool your toes off in the water.
Stratobowl Rim Trail

Take an easy and leisurely stroll to the opening of the Stratobowl! Just a quick 15 minute drive from Rapid City, this historical location offers beautiful scenery and a stunning overlook. While you’re there you can also read about the history of the location.
Willow Creek Trail

Something a little more secluded that still offers an easy hike and great scenery is Willow Creek Trail. This trail walks you along a peaceful creek and opens into a small waterfall all the while giving you stunning views of the surrounding Black Hills to enjoy.
