Scenery, flowers and food, or extreme excitement - it's all here at Rushmore Tramway and Alpine Slide. Glide up thru the pines on the smooth chairlift to a beautiful mountaintop garden. Waterfalls, lush lawn area and thousands of flowers await, along with panoramic views of the surrounding Black Hills. Mouth-watering cheeseburgers, buffalo burgers, brats and other entrees are grilled-to-order while you enjoy a most unique view of Mt. Rushmore. Ice cream, ice-cold beer and other beverages are available for your refreshment also. When ready to descend from this delightful oasis, you may choose to ride the scenic chairlift back down to street level. Or, for a true adventure, grab a sled and ride down the thrilling 2000 ft. alpine slide. A wheeled sled, with handbrake, carries you over the dips, 'round the banked corners, and down the track at whatever speed you desire. A small child may ride with an adult, so the whole family can join in the fun. This is where memories are made!
