Downtown offers unique shopping, dining and The City of Presidents, life-size bronze sculptures of past United States presidents, on display throughout the downtown area. There are also outdoor recreation areas, hiking, walking and mountain biking trails, as well as nationally recognized golf courses all located in the heart of the city. Just a few miles from Rapid City, you’ll find the major attractions of the Black Hills, like Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park and the second and fourth longest caves in the world.
